Ampeg has started making the ADA4, the bass version
of the classic Dan Armstrong clear guitar. The ADA4
is just like the one's produced in the early 1960's
except they are not as expensive. You can expect great
sound, great playing and great looks from this classic
that has been brought back to jam.
The neck is a 24 fret Indian rosewood fretboard that
leads up to the double cutaway body style. This allows
for two whole octaves of bass playing. It also features
custom interchangeable pickups so your sound can be
tailored to fit your playing style.
The controls on the ADA4 are simply. There is a volume
knob. A master tone knob and a two position tone switch.
